.jpg) On Sunday 30th August the Sunshine Beach SupaStarz Cheer Squad competed in the Australian All Stars Cheerleading Federation State Championship at Boondall Entertainment Centre, Brisbane. The competition involved over forty teams from across the state who competed in a range of different divisions, including—Cheer, Pom, Jazz and Hip Hop.
 The Sunshine Beach performed exceptionally well coming away with a number of awards including: 3rd Teen Cheer 2nd Teen Pom
1st Teen Jazz
Overall Highest Scoring Jazz Routine.
 This is an outstanding effort from the dedicated squad considering that this is the first time the team has entered into the Dance division of the competition. Katrina Howlett also took away the trophy for Junior Best Execution of Pirouettes.
 Congratulations to the squad. All of your hard work and dedication to the squad has certainly paid off. Greer Stockton
