Student Services PDF Print E-mail
The Student Services Department at Sunshine Beach SHS is responsible for supporting our students along their personal learning journey from transition into high school until graduation.

Student Services Department comprises of Administration staff, Middle Management staff, Student Managers and Student Support staff. To nurture and foster the sense of belonging in our large school, students are allocated to one of 4 houses. The 4 houses are Waimea, Uluwatu, Munduka and Banzai and were named after famous surfing locations around the world by our foundation students in 1993.

Each house is then broken up into 3 groups of 100 students called a POD. Example Waimea House is broken up into Waimea 1, Waimea 2 and Waimea 3 or more commonly referred to as W1,W2 and W3.

You can identify your student’s POD on their timetable.

Each POD has a Student Manager who is the first person you should call if you have any enquirers or problems concerning your child. Parents are advised to make sure they know who their child’s Student manager is and their contact details.
