Our school is committed to an International Program that supports cultural diversity, whilst encouraging adolescents to embrace our "global" community.

Our school has and does embrace students from Austria, Brazil, Denmark, France, Germany, Italy, Japan, Mexico, Norway.

To ensure the integration, orientation and support of international students, our school employs/engages a full-time Homestay Co-ordinator, ESL Support, Student Managers, International head of School and Guidance Officers to look after students needs.

Sunshine Beach SHS is a modern, progressive and Internationally accredited high school. The school focuses on the development of positive relationships with students and the community, pathways for students, teaching, learning and innovation. The school has a strong academic focus and maintains links with several universities.

Vocational areas include hospitality, tourism, visual arts and the marine industry. A well developed, high speed computer network ensures students undertake a 21st century education - with its challenges - fully equipped. With an experienced, professional and caring staff, Sunshine Beach SHS is able to proudly boast a quality education in a quality setting recognised as a Biosphere Reserve by the United Nations.
