What is the Sunshine Beach High School P&C?

We are a passionate group of parents from the SBSHS community currently consisting of several executive members and 30+ members and volunteers.  We meet once a month and are directly involved in enriching the SBSHS school life, with active involvement with events, special projects and activities.

Although fundraising for projects is always a necessary part of any P&C, it has become our committee’s focus to provide more to the school and wider community. In order to do this, the executive are keen to network with other community groups and interested stakeholders on how we can work together for the improvement of communication and school outcomes in the future.

Volunteering
It's a feel good feeling and a great way to be involved with your child's school, to network, and make new friends if you are new to the school community, as well as to simply become more involved in the day-to-day life of SBSHS.

We invite you all and would love to see more of our school community come and join us to discuss new ideas and future directions in a light-hearted, social environment.

Your support is both encouraged and very much welcomed.  We are always looking for new members and volunteers to assist us.  So please feel comfortable contacting any of the Executive members for more information.

Please remember:  Your P&C can only function effectively if you, the SBSHS community actively participate by attending your P&C meetings and support their activities.

You don't have to take on too much - we promise, but extra support and hands for the executive committee for events makes organising these events that much easier and fun.
