 Our school is:

  • Inclusive – Diversity is valued and students have opportunities to practice respectful, intercultural communication.
  • Global education – with curriculum practices that encourage communication with schools and students from all around the world
  • Challenging – Students have the opportunity to confront ethical and  cultural issues connected with the role of being an international student.

Our school profile

Sunshine Beach High is situated in the heart of the United Nation’s recognised Biosphere Reserve therefore perfectly equipped to provide a unique opportunity for Environmental and Marine Studies.

The school is surrounded by lakes, rivers, forests, beaches and ocean with nearby National Parks and natural reserve unique in the world.

The school grounds are green and lush with lots of shady trees. The school buildings are all on one level until 2020, when we move into a new two storey building.

International students are able to experience high levels of exposure to Information Communication Technology for content delivery and study. These skills will be very valuable when returning to their home country.

We have the Noosa Aquatic Centre (swimming pools) and Noosa Tennis Club right next door for students to use.

On our path to the future, we will not forget our identity and where we came from. We respectfully acknowledge this land and its traditional owners (Gubbi-Gubbi tribe).
