In Year 9 we offer ICT, where students will study
- images and image manipulation;
- website construction;
- desktop publishing;
- visual basic (programming for beginners).
In Year 10 we offer ITP. This subject is preparing students for IPT and ITS in senior. Studies will cover the following areas of study:
- image manipulation and commercial application;
- vector graphics (Adobe Illustrator, logo design and creation):
- website design and construction;

Senior
Digital Solutions (General)
Digital Solutions at Sunshine Beach State High School equips students with the skills to design and develop innovative digital solutions using
Unity 3D as the primary platform for interactive content creation. Students explore programming, algorithms, and user interface design while applying problem-solving techniques to real-world challenges.
With a focus on hands-on learning, students gain experience in
writing code, building interactive applications, managing data, and considering cybersecurity principles. They also develop essential
critical thinking, collaboration, and communication skills while evaluating the ethical implications of technology use.
Key topics include
