The Sunshine Learning Centre offers key supports for the diverse learning needs of students within a whole school approach.
Central to our values are creating equitable, safe and supportive environments to ensure that 'every student succeeds'.
We support equity and excellence in all phases of schooling, across all subject areas including post-school pathway plans.
The whole school approach provides a continuum of support from supported regular mainstream classes with differentiation, progressing through to focussed teaching groups and intensive programs with highly individualised curriculum, tailored to meet the individual's needs and to ensure positive learning outcomes for all.
All students with additional learning needs are valued, integral members of their whole-school community and supported with a range of curriculum and program options by an experienced and qualified specialist support teaching team.
The heart of our teaching and learning is the '6 Cs' for 21st Century learners.

Areas of study and learning
The following Curriculum and Individualised Program options are available based upon the student's Individual Support Plan (ISP) goals and designed based on student data and ongoing monitoring of growth.
Our staff assist in the development of highly individualised curriculum with the learner as focus. We offer focussed and intensive learning as required, including support for post-school pathways through Certificate II Skills for Vocational Pathways and support to access work experience placements in our community.
